To further consolidate the company’s foundational management system, focus on core production processes, optimise production efficiency, strengthen quality control measures, and continuously improve inter-departmental coordination, Frey organised a special meeting last Friday to review and improve foundational management practices. The meeting centred on two key areas—enhancing production efficiency and product quality control—and involved a comprehensive review, analysis of issues, and the implementation of optimisation measures.
The meeting was chaired by Yao Hongyan, the company’s General Manager, and Yu Jiawen, Deputy General Manager. It was attended by heads and key staff from the Production Department, Procurement Department, Technical Services Department, General Administration Department, Equipment Safety Department, Order Management Department, Quality Department and Finance Department, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all business, technical, functional and support departments. The meeting provided an opportunity to thoroughly review the current pain points, challenges and areas for improvement in the company’s operational management.
At the start of the meeting, each department delivered a progress report, drawing on their respective roles and practical work experiences.
This report eschews a perfunctory summary, instead adopting a data-driven, problem-oriented approach with a focus on improvement, and conducts an in-depth review of the entire production process.
It focuses on key areas such as production target achievement, production rhythm, process implementation and on-site management; identifies key successes in improving production efficiency; objectively analyses shortcomings in workflow coordination, capacity optimisation and attention to detail; and proposes targeted improvement measures, including process optimisation and the implementation of standardised operations.
Support functions and operational departments work together to review processes and conduct benchmarking exercises;
Once all departments had completed their reports, the company’s General Manager, Yao Hongyan, and Deputy General Manager, Yu Jiawen, provided individual feedback and guidance based on the practical realities of each division. They pinpointed the core issues and weaknesses currently present in basic management, production operations and inter-departmental coordination, addressing the shortcomings head-on and putting forward targeted, actionable recommendations for improvement and specific work requirements.
This review and improvement meeting on basic management served not only as a comprehensive review of our work to date, but also as a practical initiative to address shortcomings, strengthen weak areas and drive improvement. It has set out a clear direction and laid a solid foundation for the company’s next phase of efforts to enhance production quality, boost efficiency and improve management effectiveness.
Moving forward, all Frey employees will take this meeting as a new starting point. We will focus on the twin priorities of quality and efficiency, adopt a problem-solving approach to rectify issues, rely on established standards to enhance capabilities, and use collaboration as a lever for development. We will strengthen our foundational management, refine production processes and strictly control product quality. With a pragmatic and meticulous attitude, we will drive the continuous improvement of the company’s operational management standards and core competitiveness, thereby supporting the company’s steady, high-quality development.
