To accelerate the transition towards greener and smarter public transport operations, a delegation from a major bus transport company recently visited EvFrey’s Bengbu Smart Manufacturing Centre to conduct a specialised inspection and technical exchange regarding the battery-swapping project for coaches, with a view to exploring new pathways for the development of new energy buses.
During their visit, the clients toured the showroom and PACK production workshop at EvFrey’s Bengbu Smart Manufacturing Centre, gaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s technical capabilities and industrial strategy in areas such as power battery R&D, smart manufacturing and quality control.
At the exhibition hall, the client gained a detailed understanding of EvFrey’s development history, technological innovations and the application scenarios for its battery-swapping products;
In the PACK workshop, highly automated production lines operate efficiently, with robotic arms carrying out key processes such as cell sorting, stacking and welding with precision, fully demonstrating the efficiency and precision of smart manufacturing;
They also paid particular attention to the assembly processes, safety inspection procedures and intelligent operation and maintenance systems for coach-specific battery packs, and expressed high praise for EvFrey’s standardised and intelligent production capabilities.
During the discussion, the two sides held in-depth talks on topics including the operational advantages of the battery-swapping model for coaches, battery-swapping solutions, battery lifecycle management and bespoke solutions.
A spokesperson for EvFrey stated that the company has been deeply involved in the power battery sector for many years and has developed comprehensive capabilities across the entire industrial chain, ranging from cell R&D and battery pack manufacturing to battery swapping system integration.
Designed specifically for public transport applications, these battery packs offer high safety standards, excellent compatibility, a long service life and rapid battery swapping. They effectively address the issues associated with traditional charging methods, such as lengthy charging times and low operational efficiency, thereby helping public transport operators to reduce costs, improve efficiency and promote sustainable development.
This visit and exchange have further strengthened communication and mutual trust between the two parties, and have laid a solid foundation for future in-depth cooperation in the field of battery swapping for buses.
Looking ahead, EvFrey will continue to uphold its development philosophy of ‘innovation-driven, quality first, and customer-centric’, whilst increasing investment in the research and development of battery-swapping technology and optimising its product and service systems. By providing more efficient and reliable new energy solutions, the company aims to assist more public transport operators in achieving a green and low-carbon transition, thereby contributing to the high-quality development of the new energy vehicle industry and the establishment of a green and low-carbon transport system.
