Frey Battery: Deepening its commitment to the mining lithium battery sector, aiming for a strong start to the first quarter

Recently, the Xuzhou High-Tech Zone Government Press Corps visited our company (Jiangsu Frey Battery Technology Co., Ltd.) to conduct an on-site inspection of our production and operational activities. Through their lenses, they captured the vigorous momentum of this national specialised, refined, distinctive and innovative 'Little Giant' enterprise as it strives for a strong start to the first quarter.
Production lines within the factory premises are operating at full capacity, with a palpable atmosphere of hard work and drive permeating every corner. This vividly demonstrates the robust vitality of high-quality development among enterprises in the high-tech zone.
At the company's product exhibition hall, the interview team focused on core products such as coal mine safety-certified battery cells and explosion-proof power supplies for mining applications, gaining detailed insights into their application scenarios and market competitiveness.
Hu Zhenghai, Deputy General Manager of the company, stated during an interview: "We specialise in the niche market of mining lithium batteries, focusing on high-safety mining batteries. Our core cells, certified for coal mine safety, enable comprehensive underground applications. They are widely used in power sources for specialised mining vehicles such as large auxiliary electric locomotives, rubber-tyred vehicles, and monorail cranes. They are also suitable for underground robots, starter batteries, and backup batteries."
He emphasised that the extreme conditions underground impose stringent demands on battery safety, requiring absolute assurance against fire or explosion. These safety standards far exceed those for automotive-grade batteries, and this core advantage has enabled the company to maintain a leading market share in the mining battery category.
Leveraging favourable business environments and industrial support policies, our company has established three major production bases in Xuzhou, Bengbu and other locations, achieving an annual production capacity of 20GWh. Our products have successfully obtained multiple authoritative domestic and international certifications, including Coal Mine Safety, CE and ISO9001.
Among these, the market share of explosion-proof lithium batteries for mining applications has exceeded 10% for consecutive years, consistently ranking among the top three nationally. By 2025, exports accounted for 45% of total sales, with products and services reaching over 30 countries and regions worldwide. The company has established robust core competitiveness in power batteries, energy storage batteries, and supporting management systems, contributing significantly to the industrial upgrading of the high-tech zone through its formidable capabilities
The New Year commenced with triumphant news: in January 2026, our company successfully secured orders worth 20 million yuan, achieving a strong start to the first quarter. In an interview, Hu Zhenghai stated: "Throughout 2026, we shall continue our endeavours, focusing primarily on technological products. We will persist in overcoming challenges within this sector, striving to realise our target of 350 million yuan by the end of 2026.
In the future, Frey will continue to establish itself in Xuzhou, pursuing steady development to consolidate its industry leadership and expand into global markets. Through premium products, it will empower the construction of green mines, thereby contributing further to the high-quality economic development of the High-Tech Zone.
