Joining Forces in Bengbu | Frey’s Inter-Site Exchange Event Concludes Successfully

2026-06-18

With a view to further deepening collaboration between sister companies within the Group, breaking down communication barriers across sites, and promoting the exchange of management expertise, the Frey management team recently visited the Bengbu Smart Manufacturing Base to undertake a specialised study visit and team-building exchange activity.

Centred on site visits, in-depth discussions and team-building activities, this event served to further align perspectives on development, strengthen professional capabilities and foster a shared commitment to collaboration, thereby laying a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the Group’s lithium battery industry and the synergistic empowerment of its two production bases.

Yao Hongyan, Vice-Chairman of EVFrey, personally led the tour and provided commentary throughout, giving a systematic overview of the Group’s organisational structure, overall industrial layout and future strategic planning, as well as the competitive advantages and application scenarios of its core products—lithium batteries for mining and industrial use.

At the same time, Mr Yao also highlighted equipment upgrades and refurbishment technologies, integrated photovoltaic-storage-charging solutions, and application solutions tailored to diverse scenarios. The presentation was comprehensive, well-focused and packed with practical insights, providing the entire management team with a more systematic and in-depth understanding of the Group’s industrial ecosystem, core technologies and development roadmap, thereby further strengthening their confidence in the brand, technology and future development.

The team then visited the production workshops at the Bengbu site to observe first-hand the intelligent production processes, the application of smart equipment, the standardised quality control system and the overall production capacity configuration. Drawing on their on-site observations, the two sides engaged in benchmarking discussions and exchanged best practices on practical issues such as improving production efficiency, process optimisation, equipment operation and maintenance, and refined management. This effectively broadened their management perspectives and laid a solid foundation for future mutual empowerment and improvements in quality and efficiency.

Following the site visit, the management teams from both sites held a thematic discussion. During the discussion, Mr Yao, drawing on the Group’s actual development experience, gave a systematic presentation on site construction, production management, project implementation, collaborative efforts and future development directions, thereby further clarifying the approach and building consensus for the subsequent coordinated development of the two sites.

During the discussion, it was made clear that the two major bases in Xuzhou and Bengbu each have their own strengths and are highly complementary: the Bengbu Smart Manufacturing Base boasts comprehensive hardware facilities, a solid foundation in smart manufacturing and vast scope for development; whilst the Xuzhou Production Base has mature operational experience, robust on-site management and a wealth of practical expertise.

Both parties should continue to strengthen cross-site collaboration, learning from each other’s strengths and sharing resources in areas such as production processes, equipment operation and maintenance, on-site management and operational services, so as to truly achieve resource sharing, complementary strengths and collaborative progress.

This specialised exchange event combined professional discussions with team-building activities, fostering deep team cohesion and the exchange of ideas in a relaxed yet productive atmosphere. Following the site visits and round-table discussions, the team took part in a leisurely team-building activity, enjoying a group boat trip on Longzi Lake.

Taking a break from their busy work schedules, everyone relaxed amidst the scenic lake and mountain views, engaged in lively conversation and deepened their understanding of one another, effectively bridging the communication gap between the management teams of the two bases. After the boat trip on the lake, the team gathered to sample Bengbu’s speciality: crayfish. Accompanied by the festive atmosphere and delicious food, everyone chatted freely in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. Amidst laughter and merriment, team cohesion was further strengthened, fully demonstrating the Furuai team’s spirit of unity, friendship and positive drive.

This trip to Bengbu was a journey of professional development, focused on benchmarking and identifying areas for improvement, and also a journey of unity, aimed at fostering cohesion and collaborative empowerment. Through study sessions in the exhibition hall, production line tours, thematic discussions and team-building activities, all participants gained a clearer understanding of the Group’s industrial layout, technological strengths and the direction of synergy between the two bases, returning with valuable insights and inspiration.

Moving forward, all staff will translate what they have learnt, reflected upon and realised during this exchange into practical momentum for their work; they will strive for continuous improvement and benchmarking in their respective roles, whilst further strengthening cross-site collaboration and coordination.

Looking ahead, EVFrey will continue to build internal platforms for communication and learning, promoting mutual learning and exchange between our two sites and fostering synergy, so that—with more robust management, more advanced technology and a more cohesive team—we can contribute to the high-quality development of the Group’s lithium-ion battery industry and work together to forge a new chapter in the company’s development!
