Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission and other four departments jointly issued a notice announcing the first batch of vehicle-network interaction (V2G) scale application pilot projects, 9 cities, 30 projects selected, Chengdu, Chongqing and other places of public transport, is ready from the "passenger tool" into the urban power grid "mobile charging treasure! ".

Bus + V2G, what can it really do ?
Peak shaving and valley filling: charging at night in the low valley, and sending electricity in the daytime peak. A bus in Chengdu can send about 100 kWh of electricity per day, which is equivalent to the electricity used by 10 households in a day. 7000 vehicles are 7000 "mobile power stations", helping to reduce the peak pressure on the power grid.

Emergency power supply: In the event of hot weather or sudden disasters, buses can be the first to support critical facilities such as hospitals and schools. Chongqing used bus V2G to shed 14 megawatts of load last summer, equivalent to shutting down 10,000 air conditioners.

Resource reuse: Bus batteries have about 20% potential left before they are scrapped, V2G can fully exploit this value and reduce waste.
Economic + environmental win-win: the difference in peak and valley electricity prices brings additional revenue, reduces carbon emissions, and can also participate in carbon trading, creating direct economic returns.
This is not only a technological upgrade, but also a piece of "elastic muscle" for the urban energy system - storing electricity at normal times and releasing energy at critical moments to hold the energy demand of the city's operation, which not only avoids waste of energy, but also allows the whole system to operate more comfortably and efficiently. not only to avoid energy waste, but also to make the whole system run more smoothly and efficiently.

Why now?
The east wind of policy is blowing. Bus power exchange + V2G charging pile: using advanced digital and intelligent scheduling technology, the energy storage units (such as energy storage cabinets, electric vehicle batteries, etc.) distributed throughout the city are aggregated and managed in a unified manner, forming a "virtual energy pool" with flexible scheduling capabilities, and realising optimal allocation of electric power resources and maximising the value of power resources across regions and time zones.
